Robert E. Carter is an Emmy Award-winning video editor, journalist, and multimedia storyteller with over 40 years of experience in television, radio, and digital media. A published poet, former radio DJ, and lifelong trivia buff, Bob brings his sharp eye for storytelling to What’s in the Name, a fun and fascinating look at how businesses develop their names, logos, and brands. When he’s not producing videos as Executive Producer at Childress Ink Publishing, he’s uncovering the quirky, clever, and surprising stories behind the world’s most recognizable names.

Currently the Executive Producer and Product Manager at Childress Ink Publishing, Bob leads video and media development for books, brands, and creative campaigns, while managing content for affiliate Ink-a-Dink, an Indie children’s bookstore. When he’s not creating, he’s collecting stories—especially the obscure, oddball, or little-known facts that make great trivia. What’s in the Name? is his debut trivia book.
