More About Kim Childress
Written in Third Person by me, Kim Childress. (I like to write.)
Founded by award-winning editor and author Kim Childress, after working over thirty years in publishing, Childress Ink began as a book review site, then became my personal author/editor/writing site, which evolved into product development company with an affiliated bookstore, Ink-a-Dink.
From bookseller, to long-time Girls' Life Magazine book reviewer, to middle-grade editor at a top-five publishing house, Kim has written and edited 100s of articles, short stories and books for children and adults. Publication samplings.
An extreme word nerd and book lover, she continues to seek out and share books of excellence to as many people and places possible, with a mission to get more kids books into the hands of children, provide resources for parents, educators, schools and communities, and instill the love of reading in future generations.
As product developer, Kim Childress utilizes a select team of authors, editors, proofreaders, marketers and web masters to provide:
- Editorial services, all ages, stages and genres
- Enabling authors to embrace and become their own, very-best PR reps
- Personalized planning to meet every client's unique needs
- Consultation and conceptualization
- Analysis of existing platforms with digital and branding, suggestions, creative marketing and PR services
- All done with the ultimate goal of guiding authors and clients into a place of knowledge and confidence
- Internships available
