Emma Beaven grew up in a reputedly haunted house on Solomons Island in Maryland. She has been an avid reader and writer of horror since she discovered Andersen’s fairy tales as a little girl. Her love of books followed her throughout her life, as she studied English literature at University of Maryland, College Park. And from there she has been on staff at the central Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore for over 15 years, where she currently manages the Maryland Interlibrary Loan department and is surrounded by books all day.
Trish Broome knew she wanted to be a writer when she wrote her first short story, The Lousy Life of Lauren Lewis, in the sixth grade. Raised in Newport, Virginia by a single Korean mom, she received her B.A. from Longwood College and her M.A. from Loyola College. Her writings have been published in Motherly, PopSugar and Love What Matters.
Dr. Rima is an editor at the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK), the oldest Anglican mission organization and leading publisher of Christian books in the United Kingdom (founded in 1698). Rima is a published fantasy writer and a member of the prestigious Clockhouse London Writers. When not writing or editing, Rima enjoys country walks, playing the flute, European cinema and medieval re-enactment.
Founder of Make Your Break, Alyshia Hull started off as a freelance writer and speaker with the goal of getting children involved with reading, writing, and goal-setting. Brooke is a former school administrator, teacher, adjunct instructor for Ashford University, and regular contributor to EducationWorld.com. Brooke obtained her Masters in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. Brooke taught various elementary grade levels for over ten years, then became an assistant principal, and later an adjunct professor at Ashford University. Today Brooke is a full-time writer, adjunct professor, and mom who creates curriculum for Schoolhouse Teachers, a division of The Old Schoolhouse magazine, and she loves reading and writing encouraging stories while raising two growing boys, Tristan and Gabriel.
Diana is a prolific writer focusing in non-fiction, poetry, and editorial work. She specializes in the mental health space, topics about love, and behavioral science.
A Michigan native, Peggy now lives in Delray Beach, Florida. She loves bringing history to life for readers. Peggy has written for Appleseeds, Insight, Learning Through History, and contributed to Why? Titanic Moments by Yvonne Lehman.

Thea has over 30 years of experience in the corporate and start-up worlds with an emphasis on female empowerment and music.
