Makenna McCord is a senior at Taylor University, expecting to graduate in Fall 2025 with a major in professional writing and a minor in journalism. She serves as Co-Editor in Chief of The Echo, Taylor’s student newspaper, which recently earned a First Place ICPA award for best single issue. Makenna also works as an Advising Assistant, helping support academic programs on campus. An Indiana native, she enjoys spending time with her parents and dog, and her favorite way to unwind is lounging by the pool with a good mystery novel.
